The PNP’s newly designated public relations and communications strategist wants the police to level-up by developing a strategic communication program that will be truly responsive to the needs of the public.
On Monday, PNP Officer-in-Charge, Police Deputy Director General Leonardo A Espina named Police Chief Superintendent Wilfredo D. Franco as Officer-in Charge of the Directorate for Police Community Relations vice Police Director Danilo S. Constantino who was earlier designated as OIC of the Office of the Chief of Directorial Staff. Franco, a member of the PMA “Sandigan Class” of 1982, formally assumed the position as the OIC, DPCR following a brief stint as Deputy Director for Personnel and Records Management.
Police Chief Inspector Lorenzo P. Bernas, Assistant Chief Information Operation and Research Center and party conducted the Periodic Assessment of Public Safety Forces (PSFs) and Seminar/ Workshop of Information Operations held at General Santos City on April 22-23, 2015.
Police Deputy Director General Leonardo A. Espina, OIC, PNP graced the opening of the 3-day PNP Disaster Preparedness and Response Workshop conducted by the Directorate for Police Community Relations at the Multi-Purpose Center, Camp Crame, Quezon City.
The Director for Police Community Relations Danilo S. Constantino led the campaign launching of the “MODUS STOPERANDI” on April 8, 2015 which aimed to defeat criminal activities in order to secure the most affected sectors from becoming victims of modus operandi.
